Being part of a big family definitely has its advantages but now that I’m all grown up it’s starting to feel more like a curse than a blessing. My brothers are so overprotective and they don’t really let me be a grown woman sometimes and it’s getting particularly annoying in the dating field. For example, I met this really great guy, Chris, and when I had him meet my brothers Tim told me later he had his buddy (a cop) run a background check on him! So not okay! And Mark is always sending me links for stuff like www.allhomesecurity.com and just showing up at my house unannounced to make sure my windows are locked and my doors are closed. I guess they just feel responsible for me since dad died but they’re really going overboard and I can’t handle it much longer. I mean, I’m 25 years old and I don’t need 2 men watching out for me at all times – I can take care of myself when I need to, you know?

As you can see, I’ve added a Cbox tagboard on the sidebar, and I re-organized the whole homepage structure.   This way, I hope the blog is more presentable than before. Also, I’m trying to get more online friends, since I only have one so far, so feel free to apply by leaving a comment on this entry.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day, so my online time will be limited, but I will try to spend most of it learning SEO. I found out – reading other blogs – that even just a basic knowledge of SEO tecniques could help improve my website ranking. I find it interesting and I’m determined to learn more about it. Please, let me know if you are aware of any resources I could use for self-teaching. I would help loads. Thanks.
